Christmas 2012

This Christmas, we travelled to Richmond, Eaton, and had a fabulous Christmas day here at home with our family. Greyson loved the wrapping paper and Isabella's favorite gift was her Pocahontas pez dispenser. We had a great day and we know how truly blessed we are to be surrounded by such loving friends and family.

First "big" snow (1 inch)

The kids were so pumped to play in and eat the snow! So after about 45 minutes of bundling up...we made it outside. Greyson couldn't sit up in his snowsuit and Ryan could hardly walk. They had a blast. We lasted approximately 20 minutes....the big kids kept losing gloves and everyone had snot running down their faces. In the end, the kids and I had a great time....and I had a lot of laundry :)

Sickness ugh

We are finally overcoming our illnesses just in time for Christmas! Greyson is still up a lot at night due to being congested. This week he started crawling, and eating by himself. He's getting so big! He already needs a bigger carseat. Isabella had a great time at preschool today and made mommy a beautiful ornament. Love these babies so much!

Nice weekend

We had a great weekend. Saturday Oma and opa came to town and watched the kids while mommy and daddy attended Jill and Ray's Christmas party. Sunday was also great because Greyson was sealed into the New Apostolic Church. He was a good boy and stayed quiet
While mommy held him. At the Christmas party white elephant exchange, we gy an inflatable Rudolph. I love it and so does Isabella. She wants to touch him constantly and kisses him goodnight. We are so blessed to have such great friends and family. Mommy organized the toys Sunday evening. I am so sick of the kids missing a toy and having to search for it. We have so many toys! It looks much better now.

Haircut

Today I took izzy to get her hair cut. I had wanted to grow it out but it was uneven and scraggly. We decided for one length just above the shoulders. She sat still and viewed jake and the neverland pirates. I adore the new look :)

Mommy daughter day

Today Isabella and I visited the worlds largest train display which is only 8 minutes away from our home. It was way more awesome than I had imagined. She enjoyed looking at the trains, shoveling fake coal into a train, playing in the jungle gym, and sitting on Santa's lap. She did not like the circus area. There was a mirror maze and clown area that both scared her (I hate both as well do mommy was glad she didn't want to participate in those activities). All in all we had a great time! Mommy and daddy are strongly considering this as Isabella's 3rd birthday party here
