Haircut

Today I took izzy to get her hair cut. I had wanted to grow it out but it was uneven and scraggly. We decided for one length just above the shoulders. She sat still and viewed jake and the neverland pirates. I adore the new look :)

Mommy daughter day

Today Isabella and I visited the worlds largest train display which is only 8 minutes away from our home. It was way more awesome than I had imagined. She enjoyed looking at the trains, shoveling fake coal into a train, playing in the jungle gym, and sitting on Santa's lap. She did not like the circus area. There was a mirror maze and clown area that both scared her (I hate both as well do mommy was glad she didn't want to participate in those activities). All in all we had a great time! Mommy and daddy are strongly considering this as Isabella's 3rd birthday party here

So it has been an extremely long time since I have blogged. I missed it do here I am again. It is now DECEMBER and seems like forever since my last blog. Baby Greyson is now 7 months old and the sweetest boy I have ever known. He loves his big sister and she loves him equally as much. I am enjoying being a stay at home mother and nanny since I was laid off at Reconstructive Orthopaedics. Sometimes, I miss my identity as being a working athletic trainer, but being "mommy" is far better. I am enjoying watching my "nephew-in-laws" a lot. Isabella and Grey both have such fun days playing with their cousins. We just had pictures taken and they turned out great!  I plan on eventually returning to college to become a PTA since it is a higher paying job that is in demand. Isabella is loving preschool and is in the same class as Connor.

Isabella's 2nd Birthday

Isabella was very excited for her second birthday.  Jon and I both took the day off to take her out and about for her big day.   On Isabella's birthday morning, mommy and daddy had filled up the family room with balloons.  She was ecstatic to play with them, kick them, sit on them, etc.  Mommy and daddy also surprised Izzy with a table and chairs.  She has been obsessed with having tea parties ever since.  After playing around the house, we went to Jump and Jacks. Isabella  had a blast going down the slide, popping the fake balloons on the graphic screen, and running through the maze.  Mommy and daddy had to go down the slides with her and we were pooped crawling up the steps 20,000 times.  (We had sent her down once by her self and determined it was a bad idea when she got off and said "blue slide too fast")  We asked her what she wanted for lunch and she said "nuggets" so off to McDonalds we went.  On Saturday we had a small family birthday party.  For weeks I would ask her who was going to come to her party and she would reply:  "cake coming."  She is obsessed with cake.  We had a great party with our wonderful family.

Play day with Mommy and Daddy

Jon and I both had the day off today to have some fun with our girl.  The morning started off with mommy's glucose test at Dr. Froehlich's office.  We all got to hear Greyson's heartbeat as well as him kicking the microphone.  I am measuring small for 28 weeks, so for all those telling me that I look like i'm carrying twins, boo-yah!  After the MD visit, we ventured over to Run, Jump, and Play for a couple hours.  Isabella loves it there.  She mostly enjoys swinging, jumping on the trampoline, and playing in the little house.  She has a good imagination and made me a lot of "food" as you will see in the video.  Back to reality tomorrow.

Story time

Tonight Isabella read me a number of stories, and I read her some as well.  Usually she just opens the book, and says "The End."  Tonight, she was trying to read simultaneously to me reading.  My favorite story to read her is Wherever you are my love will find you by Nancy Tilman.  I want to share it with you because it's the sweetest thing you will ever see, and if you are a mother it will melt your heart for sure.

I wanted you more
than you ever will know,
so I sent love to follow
wherever you go.

It's high as you wish it, It's quick as an elf.
You'll never outgrow it...it stretches itself!

So climb any mountain...
climb up to the sky!
My love will find you.
My love can fly!

Make a big splash! Go out on a limb!
My love will find you, my love can swim!

It never gets lost,, never fades, never ends...

if you're working....
or playing....
or sitting with friends

You can dance til you're dizzy...
paint 'til you're blue...
there's no place, not one,
that my love can't find you.

And if someday you're lonely,
or someyou're sad,
or you strike out at baseball,
or think you've been bad...

just lift up your face, feel the wind in your hair.
That's me, my sweet baby, my love is right there.

In the green of the grass...in the smell of the sea....in the clouds floating by...at the top of a tree...in the sound crickets make at the end of the day....
"You are loved. You are loved. You are loved," they all say.

My love is so high, and so wide, and so deep, it's always right there, even when you're asleep

So hold your head high
and don't be afraid
to march to the front
of your own parade.

If you're still my small babe
or you're grown,
my promise to you
is you're NEVER alone.

You are my angel, my darling, my star....and my love will find you, wherever you are.
You are loved.

Every single time I read this to Isabella I get choked up.  I want to read this to her every single day because this is just how I feel.  Hope you all have a wonderful night!  I have my doctor's appointment/Gestational diabetes iorrow and then we are taking Isabella to play at Run, Jump, and Play.  She has been talking about that place for weeks.
